You did not say which Isaac.I have a Mary Gear who married Isaac Seymore in TN. Could this be a connection. The spelling is GEAR notGeer like the others. I don't have the info with me and it has been a long time since I looked at it but I believe Mary's father was Jacob.I know he goes back to William Gear who fought in the Rev. Let me know if any of this fits.We don't find any connection so far to the Geers that have a book about them or the Geer family Association.Isaac and Mary Seymore came from TN to Hopkins TX which was Rusk and Tarrant before that.
