Isaac Geer (mid 18th c - New London CT)

I am looking for info on the ancestry of my gr-gr-gr-grandmother, Sarah Geer (1765 New London CT - 1845 Galway NY). Her father was Isaac Geer of New London CT & her mother Mary Leeds. I don't have any more background info.

Sarah married Joseph Brewster III (17, whose gr-grandfather was Benjamin Brewster's son Jonathan (1664-1704). Joseph III was a private in the CT 6th regiment during the summer of 1775 at the beginning of the Am Revolution. He later moved to Vermont & then NY & died at Shortsville.

Sarah & Joseph's son John Westburn Brewster (1791-1847) m. Betsy Grummond (1795-1822). After Betsy's death he took the Erie canal to Michigan, where he settled in Southfield. He had 3 daughters: Sarah, Olive & Deborah Ann Brewster (my gr-gr-grandmother).

The Brewster line is well-documented, but I sure would appreciate help with the Geer line.
