Hi all. I"m looking for some information regarding the Joseph Gee line. Joseph Gee b.1779 in Ulster Co. NY is the brother of Moses, Roswell, Nicholas and Reuben who moved to Ohio. Joseph seems to have remained in NY (d. Delaware Co., NY). Along my line is son Benjamin Gee (b. 1807, Colchester, Delaware Co. NY) who married
Huldah Hawley. Noted daughter is Emily Parks Gee, but Lucretia Gee (b. Feb 18, 1840) is along my line. She married a William Budd (b. 1838).
I am not sure where the Gee family moved from Bejamin Gee to LUcretia Gee and William Budd but eventually the line ends through daughter Frances May Budd (b. 1886) who married a John Ellson (d. 1904 in a train accident, maybe in Kentucky) and had daughter Sarah Ellson who is my g-grandmother (she moved to Ontario sometime after her father's death).
