Fred, I hope this doesnt confuse you more, but you might try the spelling of Guy. this is the line that I am tracing,or trying to.Many times Guy's show up as Gee.My Grandmother was also Indian or mixed. Ark, is in there somewhere. But my grandparents were dead before I was Born. My grandfather would have been 100 yrs old when i was born.So tracing Great grandparents are very hard.I know the Guys came from N.C. many were Saponi Indians.I have personally ran across an Enoch Guy from census who was listed as Gee and Guy. I think the woman i am looking for is Martha Greer Guy or Gee.Good luck
