Does anyone have any information on Hideki Geddes, author of "The Discourse of Payne" (1645), "Foul Mynde" (165?) and the now-lost epic poem "Crimson Seas"? A great traveller who funded his voyages by teaching at a number of Europes early universities, he was onced jailed in Mallorca after being accused of robbing "la rubia de la virgen" a priceless gem belonging to the third wife of Fernando II of Spain.
