I have a Joseph Geering who married Sarah Allen Smith, 12/3/1829, Gloucester, MA. Sarah Allen Smith is supposed to be the daughter of Captain Henry Smith and Lydia Allen. Another source tells me that she is Sarah Butler. I'm not sure which is the correct information. Sarah Geering later married my great great great grandfather Robert Rowe, 5/12/1843. From the 1850 Gloucester, MA Census two children born of the marriage of Sarah (Sally) and Joseph Geering, are Harriet, born abt. 1839 and Sarah Elizabeth Geering born 2/14/1837, Gloucester, MA

Any information greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Carol Rowe
