Mrs. Gerhardt Of Netawaka Is Dead at 64.
Mrs. Louise Marie GERHARDT, 64, Netawaka, died Saturday in a Topeka nursing home. She had been admitted to a Topeka hospital August 26, 1967 and later was released. She was admitted to another Topeka hosptial, Dec. 29, 1967 and was released to a nursing home early in February. She had cancer.
She was born May 14, 1903 at Craig, Mo., and had lived in the Netawaka community 45 years. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and the ladies aid society at the church and Home Demonstration Unit, all at Netawaka.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Thelma PENNER, Kokomo, Ind., Lois Gerhardt, 2219 Fairlawn Road, Dorothery Gerhardt, Leavenworth, and Linda Gerhardt, 1131 Tyler; tghree sons, Raymond Gerhardt, Netawaka, Eldon Gerhardt, Omaha, Neb., and Lyle Gerhardt, 2009 Harp Place; two sisters, Mrs. Otto BRANDT, Netawaka, and Mrs. Edmond DREWES, Craig, Mo.; and 16 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Netawaka. Burial will be in Netawaka Cemetery. Mrs. Gerhardt will lie in state after 1 p.m. Sunday at Mercer Funeral Home, Holton. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church at Netawaka.
