Editing submitted World Family Tree files--Paying Service

I submitted my family tree to World Family Tree in June 2003. I was not that familiar with Family Tree for Windows then, and thought I had privatized a few things, but it was not the case. Since 2004 I have periodically (every two
years) asked genealogy.com if one could delete or
at least edit the notes field of 3 records which contain comments meant only for my family. I have always been brushed off.

I wonder if my assumption that since the WFT files are stored online, they can be changed, wrong? I suggested to geneology.com also that a fee-based "editing service" on their part would be a great customer service and bring
peace of mind to people who otherwise love the service they provide. Personally, I would gladly pay $200 per record to have these three note fields changed, and I think that I would not be the only one grateful for such a service. Is my suggestion realistic and doable?
