Sure.Friederich Buchholz.You have to search numerous spellings of both the first and last name to find them all. (Friederich and all its spellings, Fred and even Fritz, which was his nickname.) In Ancestry.com you can search for Fri* or Fre* Buc* and everthing will come up in one location that you can then browse through. You don't have to drill down into dozens of combinations of names.Lots easier and faster than what you can do on Genealogy.com.Also, I'm trying to find a Moll, with an unknown first name.All I can come up with is a very daunting page of first names that I'd have to drill down through each one to find those few that lived in Milwaukee.Whereas in Ancestry.com you can enter Moll as a last name, and enter US, Wisconsin, Census and you'll get all the Molls they have indexed in Wisconsin.Again, lots easier.Although I will keep my sub to Genealogy.com for the year, I may not renew if the search engine doesn't become more sophisticated.
