US Census search must be fixed
You simply must fix the search function for the 1870, 1900 & 1910 census. It's almost worthless...and ironically, not nearly as good as the search function you provide for 1850, and for the earlier indexes.
I need to be able to search for a surname in a county, since I don't know the first name. Instead you give me page after page, by alphabetical order, of everyone in the state. And as it happens I'm looking for someone in Vermont, so I have to wade through Maine & NH as well.
And please don't insult my intelligence by telling me to browse the whole county. You're talking hundreds of pages, which would take many hours.
I urge other gen.com customers to make their voices heard on this one - I'm sure it's an enhancement that can be done.
