I have been given several "Visiting Cards" from a friend who purchased them at an auction. I am attempting to contact someone from the direct line of Irene Gaylord and pass on her photo. The card is approximately 2 1/2 inches by 4 inches and these cards were given when wishing to visit someone. The front of the card is a photo of a middle aged woman. Handwritten on the back, Irene Gaylord, 1884. Additionally, printed on the back, Gale, Main Street, Bristol, Conn. *(possible canndidate) 1880 Norfolk, Litchfield, CT census: Gaylord, Irene WF 52 yrs., Keeping House, b. CT parents b. CT CT Gaylord, Anna WF 41 yrs., Keeping House, b. CT parents b. CT CT Gaylord, Libbie, WF 36 yrs., Keeping House, b. CT parents b. CT CT I am an avid genealogist for my family and know how wonderful it would be to have a photo of any member. I hope that you can assist me with any information that may be helpful in reaching a direct line descendant of Irene Gaylord.
