Elijah H. Gaylord, ca. 85 years, died 9 Jan. 1904 in Pulaski, Oswego Co., NY at home of mRS. P.S. Bettinger where he had been ill for some time. Two sons survive him: Allen C. Gaylord of Syracuse and Frederick Gaylord whereabouts unknown. The deceased had lived in Syracuse, coming to Pulaski as a young man with his father who was a Methodist preacher from New England. For more than 40 years he had manufactured pianos. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Pulaski. Obituary published in the Syracuse Herald 10 Jan. 1904.
