New information is now proven as to the migration of
my 4xgreatgrandparents John Gearheart,Sr and Katherina?
I received info from a cousin, who descends from John,Sr
and his son Robert Valentine Gearheart.
A reference in the Magoffin Co. Ky Historical Society
was for John Gerhard who was paid $3.00 for 72 hours of
patrol in Wythe Co. VA I ordered the Wythe Co. VA Court Order Books on microfilm, it was there. Dec. 8, 1807.
This confirmed to me that my ancestor John Gearheart, Sr
and family migrated to Floyd Co.Ky much later than
earlier thought.
It was earlier thought that John migrated at the same
time as Adam, Sr around 1805.
The microfilm document file will be added to my
Gearhart Research Center soon.
