Silvester Gayer is my gggrandfather. Born 2 June 1833 in Vernon, Jennings Co., Indiana. Died 11 Dec 1908 in Plumfield, IL. Married 25 Jan 1866 in Olney, Richland Co., IL to Margaret Hessler. I believe there are still some Gayer cousins living in Richland Co, IL.
