James Z. Gayer m. Melvina Irene Tonkens (b. Apr 1920) 1937/38. (She was the daughter of Anna Elizabeth Steadman and Remko Tonkens. Anna later married Lawrence Ellis.)
James & Melvina had the following children:

Juanita Janelle
Donald Lee b.1/21/46 d.1997
Judith Rochelle b. 3/30/48
Paul Eugene b. 5/26/49, d.1976/77
Beatrice Kay died as an infant
Frederick Melvin
James & Melvina are my grandparents, but we are looking for his first wife and children.
