I have a mystery. I know that my gg-grandmother, Mariah A. Connell md. 2nd Andrew C. Gay. But I found a Decatur Co, Ga marriage recently for Andrew Gay and Cornelia Baker 15 Oct 1874. Does anyone know this family? Mariah md. 1st James T. Baker. They had a daughter, Cornelia ???? Andrew had two sons before he md. Maria Connell Baker. Their names are very much like the Connell family names. Rufus Alexander and Hugh Lawson Gay. Whose children were they? Did Andrew marry Mariah's daughter and later marry Mariah?
