Don't mean to confuse the issue but I have a Mary Gay parents unknowm married to a James Averitt(avritt). Their first child is named Thomas Gay Avritt b12/26/1836. born in Casey co. Kentucky. Second child was Albert Avritt born Marion co Ky 1851. Old newspaper article says Mary(Marion) died in Missouri. Could this Mary connect with your Thomas Gay? All help would be appreciated.
