The London census of 1851 shows my Great Grandfather as a one week old son of Richard Gadd Gay and Henrietta. I have a copy of Angelo's birth cert showing Richard Gadd Gay & Henrietta Glindon, and that the father was a tailor. They were in Bishopsgate, London, England at this time. What is the connection to USA? I thought my ancestors came from Italy. Any further info please, especially about Richard Davis Gay?
