Elias Gay is supposed to be the father of William Owens. There was a William and a William M. I think William M. was the son of William. Do you know anything. William was the father of Whitman Hill, who was the father of Issa r. B., who was the father of James Franklin, who was the father of my mother, Gladys M. Most of the Owens are burried in the Owens Cemetary behind the Methodist in Parramore, Florida near Sneeds, Fl, Jackson County, Fl. William was supposed to be one of the early settlers of Abbeville, S.C. Some of my other Relatives, the Cloud(s) were supposed to be in Abbeville, S.C. at same time.
