Am looking for any information on Phillip Gay, born Jefferson County, AL (?), probably in late 1890's. Married Mary Ola COKER. Had five children, Jewel, Irene, George, Leon and Mary. Wife Mary died after 5th child born, around 1933-34. Phillip died in the last 14 years. After wife's death, he split the children up, some to family members in AL, two youngest went to orphanage in Woodlawn, AL (?). Any information appreciated.
