Sorry, I have no info on any siblings of Margaret Gay. From other postings at Gendex, it would appear that Margaret married c. 1797 John Lovering who died within a few years and she then married G. W. Hastings.
I would love to see your friends connections with this line.
Do you have ancestry of John Lovering? Is he from the NH Lovering family?
