Henry Gay was a son of Joshua Gay and wife Sarah Babb; Joshua was a son of Henry Gay and wife Jane Lawrence; Henry Gay was a son of Henry Gay and wife Joane.
Deed Book 14:158 This sale identifies Patience Owens, wife of Eleas Owens as daugher of Henry Gay, decd. Date of this transaction 25 Nov 1811. This is in Edgecombe co., N.C., which provided the date when they sold their share of the estate.
