Thanks for writing.

I actually talked to Madge a couple of weeks ago. She lives in Vero Beach, Fla. She's a very nice lady.

I am not related to the Gay family, but am related to the Buckels family. Madge's father was Arden Buckels but she doesn't remember him. Her parents divorced when she was 6 mos. old. As you mentioned, Madge's mother, Doris Gay, was killed in an automobile accident when she was a child and she was raised by her grandparents (Marcus Matthew Gay and Amanda Leonora Fowler) and then by her aunt, Olivia. Arden Buckels would have been a nephew to my great grandmother.

What is your father's name?

I am having a lot of difficulty tracing the Buckels family, but it helps to know a little information about the other families that they knew.
