If one of Thomas' daughters did not marry Jacob Allen, then what other connection to the Allen family did the Gays have. Thomas would not just give an aquaintance land and name a child Allen(which is a last name)for no reason. There has to be some connection. Also the Allens and Gays were down in Hancock County, Ga. at the same time. Just trying to figure i all out.
