I am trying to trace back a Thomas GAY who was born about 1790 in Georgia. He was married to a woman named Winney but we don't know her maiden name. He had 5 children who were born in GA between 1809 and 1819. His next child was born in Jackson County, FL about 1828. His sons names were John, William, James J. His daughters names were Sarah, Winnie Malinda, Nancy Muscogee and Florida Annie. I don't know if he is connected to your line or not. Does any of this sound familiar. We don't know what part of GA he was born in but I saw you query and hoped you may know something that would help. In either case, thanks for checking. --Pam
