As a follow up to this, Stephen Galthrope, baptised 1585 in Norwich, Norfolk is known to have been one of the first settlers of Jamestown, Virginia. He was also one of the first to die there, being listed as dieing on August 15 1607, aged 21. He was described as a gentleman, and cause of death was not noted.
