These are the Gawthrop UK General Register Office marriage entries. I can't seem to get the formatting right, so it may look a bit of a mess. The information is divided into quarterly years, beginning the September Quarter of 1837. Information for each entry is name, Registration district, then GRO reference number (Volume and page). I have tried to transcribe these accurately, but this should be used as a finding aid, rather than relying on the ref number for ordering certificates. Always double check the referemce number first. I have transcribed all the marriages through to the early 20th century, and am well on the way with the birth and death registers. I will post them all as time allows.
