I William Gothropp of Sedbridge in the county of York, Gent give my soul to God almighty, trusting in his mercy for pardon of all my sins through Jesus Christ, my body I leave to the earth from whence it was taken,
I give and devise all my goods and chattels unto Catherine, my dear wife.
I appoint my said dear wife to be executor of this my last will and testament, witness my hand this 20th day of February, 1702.
