There are lots of Gavin Gavan (Alternative spelling)families in Mayo. However I am particularly interested in the Gavin Families from Swinford. Most originated in the villge of Tullynahoo, outside Swinford town.

If you have any connections to this branch of the Gavin Family I would be interested in hearing from you.

I am trying to trac down three particular family members -

Patrick - born Dec 1854

Michael - born Apt 1856

Bridget - Jan 1861

and Edward Oct 1864

Edward is believed to have gone to America and most likely to the philadelphia area.

Most of this family either went to England - we believe Durham county or Philadelphia in America.

If anyone has information on these people I am particularly interested.

Many thanks
