I am the grandaughter of Ivy Pearl Gavegan. I did email you and am here in case it was an old email contact as some years have passed since your post. My cousin and I have just started our research and would be happy to share with you. We would love a copy of the letter you have.
My grandfather was Alick Reginald Saunders, their children Audrey Robina and Patterson John.
