Hi,
I am in search of any information about a Mary Gavaghan. I believe she was born in Charlestown or nearby in the early 1830's. She married Thomas Costello and they had a child Anne who was christened at St. James Church in Charlestown on 27 Dec 1863. I believe that she may have died in childbirth, as Thomas remarried several months later. I am told by family members that Anne was taken by her mother's family. I believe that they emigrated to the US and settled in Louisiana, where Anne married a Burke. Our family lost touch many years ago and noone seems to be able to give me much information on that part of the family. If anyone has any information, I would appreciate it.
