Joanna,

My name is Bonnie and I have been doing research on my husbands ancestry. His great great grandmother was Catherine Gavaghan. She was born in Baltey in 1864. According to the 1871 and 1881 census she had two Brothers, John and Thomas and a sister named Ann. Her parents were John and Catherine Gavaghan. The parents according to the census were born in Ireland, but Catherine's generation were born in Baltey. I have not found when Catherine came to the United States, but I think it was around 1887. She married John Brennan and had three sons, John George, Edward, and Robert Emmett Brennan. Catherine died in May of 1927. I am not sure at this time of what. If you are somwhow related to one of her sibs I would be interested in anything you may know.
