Hi Michelle,
My family live in Preston as did my father and G/father My G/dads name was James and he lived in Eskragh Co Sligo G/Gdads name was Michael his wifes name Bridget. Around that area is a village called Adare and most of the populations name is Gavaghan and I might add they are not related to my family a couple miles away. In 1996 the chemist told me she was writing a book of the Adare Gavaghans, she may well be able to help you.I do have in my hot little hand my G/uncles names and date of birth

Martin 28/10/1883
Thomas 12/11/1872
Mary no info 21 in 1901
Pat m/f ? baptismal date 27/2/1872
Other names that figure at the baptisms are
