Hello again, Bill. Since our last exchange, I have been on the phone to a Richard Gavagan / Gavican (etc.) in Boyle, Co. Roscommon, Ireland. He was not very well informed about early members of the various branches of this family, but he knows most of the people in the immediate area and is going to start asking questions and try to fit together some parts of the Gavican puzzle. He was telling me that several years ago he received a phone call from a Toronto, Canada doctor who was asking questions about the same family as I. I'm now trying to figure out how to discover who this doctor is and how to get in touch with him. At the moment, I haven't a clue how to go about it. Hope you are well and making some progress with your research. Fran
