Gavagan, Gavigan, Gavaghan. Are these all various spellings of the same family.? Any body out there related to the James Gavagan family of Tampa, Florida? He had a brother, Thomas Gavagan in Boston or R. I., and they were the only sons of Thomas Gavagan, b 1876 in Boston, MA. Thomas was son of Robert Gavagan, who imigrated to these shores in 1847 at the age of 17. There must be a lot of Gavagan cousins out there.
