I'm sorry, that I haven't respond earlier ... I have GenForum set to notify me if there were any responses; however, I forgot to update my E-mail address since @home.com was sold -- therefore, I've not seen any notifications <sorry> ...

I'm in the process of updating the Web Site -- I've received some major corrections and additions ...

Concerning The information about Auguste Gautier's three wives -- that came from a combination of his Death record and another researcher's find, which includes a Coat of Arms for Gautier that has some simuliarities between the one from the islands and the one from that portion France that folklore states he originally came from ... Additional research is required to tied them all together ...

We are trying -- yet to date, we have nothing additional to add on Laura Sevier (land records in NO) / Levier (folklore) / levere (Auguste Jr.'s first marriage record) ...

I hope to make the trip to NO on All Saints Day to revisit the Cemetery, maybe I can meet with your son then ... Please advise him NOT to go to the St. Louis Cemetery #2 by himself -- the reports of attacks are real !! They missed me by about 30 seconds -- I knew where to go, went at high noon in 98 degree weather, and was driving out after only being on the grounds for 91 seconds by a watch <G> ... Some guys were closing the gate I came in through as I got into my car, yet, I was planning to and went out the opposite gate ... Two guys were about fifty feet away from that gate as I turn the corner ....... Yes, I was sweating bullets as I drove away [pun intended <grin>] ...

Harold W. Gautier, Sr. was my grandfather -- even to this day, I miss his big hands on my shoulder ...

BTW I going to Biloxi on 10/04/02, if you are available, I'd like to stop by the Pascagoula Library and chat ...

Your third cousin,
Harold Wilkinson
