After my signature, I have copied the descendency of F. and Philomène or Lumina FORGET folowed by the ascenency of Joséphine.
This is unverified information so if you can supply corrections/additions, I would be very appreciative.
BTW, I could not find this family in the 1880 census. Did you?

First Generation
1. François Xavier GAUTHIER was born in 1846 in Saint-Edouard de Napierville, Napierville, QC, CANADA. He died on 3 Dec 1941 in Morinville,, AB, CANADA.
François-Xavier a vécut au Dakota-Nord avant de s’établir en Alberta. Il a choisit Morinville, où il
a érigé une briquerie, ce qui explique les nombreuses vieilles maisons en brique qu’on y
retrouve. Sa nièce, Angelina Thibert, qui était veuve, est partie du Québec pour s’établir en
Alberta en 1909. Cette migration fait suite à une correspondance qu’il entretenait avec elle.
Note : Si Angelina Thibert est la fille de Angélique Gauthier (Fille de Joseph et de Louise
Boulerice), mariée à St-Edouard-de-Napierville QC, le 29 février 1898, avec David Thibert (Fils de
Bénoni et Judith Payant), alors on pourrait orienter les recherches pour établir que François-
Xavier Gauthier serait le fils de Joseph et Louise Boulerice. Il serait donc de la famille 13 selon le
répertoire Gérard Landreville.
La preuve concrète manque mais il y a des indices indiquant que F.X. est le fils de Lumina.
Selon D. Garneau <dgarneau@telusplanet.net> F.X. serait le frère de Michael Stanislaus Gauthier
donc le fils de Joseph et Louise Boulerice.
July 18, 1895 settlers from South Dakota stated they had suffered five successive crop failures
being the reason for their immigration to the North West Territories. Francis Exazier (Xavier)
Gauthier (b-1846) wife Lumia and their children arrived at Fort Edmonton in a covered wagon
from the Dakota Territory. This is likely the same time his brother Michael Stanislaus Gauthier
(1850-1934) and wife Lea Ouimette (1850-1919) and family moved from the Dakota Territory to
Cove, Oregon.
The 1901 Census (Alberta District No. 202) shows him living at home in Morinville, Alberta.
François married Philomène ou Lumina FORGET daughter of Frédéric FORGET and Marie TRUDEAU on 5 Nov 1872 in Saint-Edouard de Napierville, Napierville, QC, CANADA.
They had the following children:

Germain était sur le navire "La Justice" qui partit de La Rochelle le 24 mai 1665 et arriva à
Québec le 12 septembre, accompagné du Saint Sébastien. De ces deux navires, 20 hommes
décèdent en mer et 130 étaient trop faibles pour descendre par eux-mêmes.

Sébastien on May 24, 1665 and landed at Québec on September 12, accompanying the Saint
Sébastien. From these two ships which sailed together, more than 20 men had died at sea and
130 were too weak to make it ashore by themselves.
