Dad, Robert Neal Gaut, was born in Wichita Falls, TX and has a brother, Joe, and a sister, Patsy (she's a Brown now). Mom was a McRae from St. Louis, MO...that line makes me 3rd gen German. Likewise, Dad's line is German too but I'm not sure how far back it goes. Patsy is the historian in the gang and actually traced us back to France - our line is related to Napoleon Bonaparte's concubine but that's the only claim to fame.
