I have a book by G. Waldo Dunnington published 1955, titled Carl Friedrich Gauss: Titan of Science. It has an extensive list of his descendents and some of his ancestors. They were basically from the Hanover area of Germany. Another, apparently unrelated line came from Wurtemburg, Germany. I have found some net-info on that. I am related to Carl Friedrich Gauss. My gg-grandfather, Eugene Gauss, and his brother, Wilhelm Gauss came to St. Charles, MO in the 1800's. Some of them later moved to Colorado. You might check my web page at www.familytreemaker.com . I can't remember whether or not I posted a Gauss family tree there, but if I didn't, I will make sure to soon.
