PA Gause/Goss name change

Does anyone have any information on the Hockessen Meeting, New Castle Co., Delaware-subordinate to Newark mtg. Late 1600-early 1700's?

I found a reference to this meeting from the Gause Family Forum, message 71, dated 2002 by George Gause. Stating
that the Hockessen Meeting has the reasons for the name change to Gause from Goss. I have the FTM CD # 192 Encyclopedia of Quaker Genealogy, however the Hockessen meeting is not listed.

I have been researching the Goss/Gause Family from Scotland-PA off and on for several years and finally decided to ask for help.

I would greatly appreciate any information.

Sincerely,

Karen McMains
