Gause Family Genealogy Forum

Dear Richard, thank you so very much for the detailed information that you have so generously shared. The post to which I am responding is very dated; however, I hope that you are well and are still available and interested in these family roots. I have worked virtually full-time researching the history of the subject family/families over the past several years. I have come across an important piece of information regarding a certain "Wm. Gauss" which may provide a key link to these families. Also, I have worked extensively in an effort to validate and expand on research contained online in Old Pendleton Data Base Project--possibly you are familiar with the original database which is/was maintained by a Mr. Herman Geschwind (OPD Chapter of the SCGS). My particular family roots relate to my g-g-grandfather Henry J. Goss (b: 1818 in GA) of Holmes Co., MS, who may be the son of a certain Bryant GOSS/GAUSE. Both surnames are used within my extended family group. Please contact me if you are still available and interested in this line of research. I am eager to speak with you. And I thank you for your time and substantial contribution to my family search.
Sincerely, Walter Goss
