Hi Luther,

It seems that we're looking at the same Bryan but I've been looking at an entirely different ancestry! I'll have to look at what you sent more closely & get back to you. The descendancy line I follow is Preston Gause b. Apr. 22, 1823 Sumpter, SC. married to Mary Margaret Watson Martin June 11, 1848 to his son James Preston (Bud) Gause b. Mar 10, 1865 married to Nora McCullers Apr. 10, 1887 to his son Matthew Corbett Gause b. Jan. 20, 1888 married to Louella Cross May 30, 1906 to my husband's grandparents William Walstein Gause and Lottie Marie Smith. I'd be interested in comparing what we have for this Gause family.
