Linda,
A little more concerning the Gaunts and Allens of early Sandwich, MA.Two sons of George Allen and at least two sons of Peter Gaunt bought property in Monmouth County, NJ in the latter 17th century. The two Allen sons and at least two of Peter Gaunt's sons moved to NJ - all but one to Monmouth County.Hananiah bought land in Monmouth but eventually settled in Burlington County. It appears that Quakers were not accepted with open arms at Sandwich, nor in Rhode Island, and a contingent of Sandwich residents moved to NJ in the late 1600s.
I will note the probable Jennings connection for Dorothy Butler in my files.Good work!
