I am looking for information on Richard T. Gauldin. He was married to Emma (do not know her maiden name) sometime around 1880 in Virginia. They had a son William Henry Gauldin (Willie). Richard is listed in 1880 census as living with his maternal Grandmother, Susan T. Tugle in Virginia when he was 25. Willie (my grandfather) was born in 1884 in Farmville, VA. Next that I can find is a listing in 1889 Birmingham, AL directory. Emma was divorced by then from Richard and working in Birmingham. She later married a man named McConnell.
Any help with this will be appreciated.
