Dear George: While I am not tracing the CURRIE/CURRY surname as such, I do have the earlier Currie link which you seek. I am tracing all RICHARDSON families in Henry County, Va. Susana Ann Richardson (1858-1935) married Robert Morton Gauldin (1856-1929). Among their eleven children was Mattie Bell Gauldin (1898-?) who married 2 Nov. 1913, Henry Co., to Willie Curry, age 22, born Henry Co., son of Tom & Sallie Curry, your gt.-gt.-grandparents. Tomas P. Curry, Age 21, Single and Sally Ann Curry, Age 17, Single, born Rockingham Co., N. C., were married in Henry County, Va. on 6 Jan. 1879. Yes, Curry (Currie) was the maiden name of Sally Ann, and most likely Tom and Sally were cousins. If you wish the documentation that supports this information, please write to my E-mail address.
