My Joseph was the son of Robert & Martha "Patsy" Walker Self. He was born in Buckingham Co. Va. Joseph had brothers Daniel and Ephraim (iam) Self. I believe the reason they moved to Bath Co. Ky was because Sarah had Gauldin family there. From the dates I have on Joseph's children I don't think they went to Md. before Ky. Their children were born in Va and Ky only. Ephraim I have not found anything on after his father died and the land was divided among the boys.
