Hi Catherine,

I grew up in Danville, where my parents still live. My mothers maiden name is Gauldin. Her grandfather lived at Callands, Va.(This is about 20 miles from Danville, between Chatham and Martinsville). His name was George Clay Gauldin, his nickname was "Boss". I know he was married three times, his first wife's name was Fanny and his second wife's name was Emily Hall. Have you seen this name in any of your research?

I would appreciate any information you may have.
