Charlotte,

My greatgrand father was Robert F. Gaulden (born 1859) (he had another brother and sister). He was 1/2 brother to James William Gaulden Betty spoke about. I too wrote Millie for years and have lots of information we shared during the years. I went to Gaulden Hollow up in Macon County this past year (It is located on Gaulden Hollow Road). There is an old house in the hollow that was probably the old home place. Although I can't be for sure. The cemetery at the top of the hill does not have any Gaulden headstones, but there are tons of old sandstone that the writing has worn off. There is a Seagraves family living near one end of Gaulden Hollow.
If I can be of help, Tom Gaulden 3620 Woodbridge Drive, Nashville, TN 37217
