GAULE- Ft.Madison/ Clare IOWA

I have a great grandfather named Edward Gaule(1860) married to Anna Stratman both lived in Clare, IA where they had many children to who are all dead except my grandmother Jeanne Tyree (Gaule). His brothers and sisters names were Sherman, Rich(ard), John, Anne, Emma and Lucy. His parents were Luke Gaule and Mary Holt.

My grandfather was brought up in Ft. Madison, IA. I believe the rest of the Family might have lived near the Mississippi river to where they owned and island that they used for hunting.

Originally the family was from Ireland in a town called Gaule's Town (gaulestown) and I have some original pictures from Ireland and of the family all the way back to Iowa. My great grandfather owned 1 of the first ferris wheels in the Iowa area, If you can help in anyway, or if you are some how related, I would like to talk!
