On Ancestry.com, the Maine Death Index shows that Eudoxie A. Loring died in Portland on 13 Jun 1966 (not 1969) at age 75 years.
I am pretty sure that I have found your Eudoxie's parents. There was a Marie Eudoxie Gaudet born 11 October 1888 and baptized the next day at Ste-Eulalie, Nicolet County, Quebec. Her parents are Joseph Philippe Gaudet and Sarah McDonald, who were married in that parish on 14 April 1885. Joseph Philippe Gaudet is #2337355A in my Gaudet database. See my Gaudet Genealogy web site at http://arslanmb.org/gaudet/gaudet.html. Look for him under the descendants of Denis Gaudet (#2) and Martine Gaut(h)ier. My 2nd-great-grandfather Neré Gaudet (#23373546) is a 1st-cousin to Joseph Philippe Gaudet. That would make us 4th-cousins, once removed.
I have found Eudoxie and her parents in the following censuses:
1891 - Quebec, Nicolet County, Ste-Eulalie
1900 - NH, Cheshire County, Keene
1910 - NH, Cheshire County, Keene
Melvin Loring and his first wife and their children are in the 1910 census of Nashua, Hillsborough County, NH (adjacent to Cheshire County). I believe that he married this Eudoxie Gaudet(te) in NH around 1915 (but I haven't found the marriage record).
I have found Melvin Loring and his wife Eudoxie in the following censuses:
1920 - ME, Cumberland County, Portland
1930 - ME, Cumberland County, Portland
